Agronomic responses of four garlic genotypes in two different locations

Agronomic performance of garlic is speculated strongly affected by genotype ´ environment interaction, however, interaction evaluation rarely studied in Indonesia. This research aimed to study the agronomic response four varieties two different locations. The was conducted from April December 2021 using Lumbu Putih, Hijau, Kuning, and Tawangmangu Baru genotypes grown locations, i.e., Lembang (1250 m asl) Ciwidey (1200 asl), Bandung, West Java randomized complete block design with three replications. Results showed that locations found for traits: plant height, pseudo-stem stem diameter, number stomata, weight, diameter fresh dried bulbs. Chlorophyll content (SPAD value) depends on genotype, height bulbs percentage weight loss depending location, while leaves independently location. Kuning produced highest average considerable differences both (Lembang: 52.01 g, Ciwidey: 31.87 g) also had dry bulb when planted (24.65 g). Pearson's correlation strongest positive (r=0.91) between were Ciwidey. present implies importance select suitable a particular location.
